While you READ you will be hearing a song I wrote about 50 years ago. This video is fascinating, but not for me. My granddaughter, who just turned 21, just completed her first Sky Dive. The following video is a copy of the DVD of that jump. Sky Diving is scary enough but these guys in these wing suits are crazy! They are actually flying by these rocks, just a few feet away, at 100 miles an hour or more. Check the video out, see if it's something you would want to do.

Racing has been a part of the Williams family since the 1950’s. Josh’s grandfather Jack and Bobby Williams (Brothers) raced micro midgets and midgets along with Richard Williams (Bobby’s Nephew). Rip Williams (Bobby’s Son) was next to take the wheel in the mid-70’s. Josh’s passion for racing began when he was 7 years old. His Dad took the family to legendary Ascot Park in Gardena, CA to watch their rookie cousin, Rip, race a sprint car. Josh vividly recalls the thunder of the un-muffled V8’s rattling his chest during warm ups as the kids poured out of the station wagon at least a quarter mile from the track. He was hooked! Josh spent his childhood and young adult years competing in sports ranging from BMX and wrestling to powerlifting and coaching tee ball. It would be some twenty years later that he would strap into an open wheel race car for the first time. Racing Career - At 29 years of age Josh began competing with the highly competitive California Lightning Sprints. He transferred to the feature event in his first outing and finished 17th. Josh competed the folowing year for Rookie of the Year honors finishing 3rd. He earned the series “Most Improved Driver” award in 2001, finishing 9th overall. He spent the next two seasons running a limited schedule with the series. With preparations for USAC Sprint Car action underway, he competed in just 8 races the 2004 season, winning several qualifying races but suffering mechanical problems 7 times all while running in the Top 5. The Lightning Sprint group sent Josh on to battle USAC Sprints with the series’ “Hard Luck” trophy. Family Life - Josh and wife Michele live in Lake Elsinore, CA with their four children Jake, Jed, Jason, and Jadyn. While Josh claims to “race for a living” his mid-week is spent at ADP where he is a facilities manager. Michele is a successful realtor having earned the Board of Realtor’s prestigious “Realtor of the Year” award in 2002. In addition, they are owners of Victory Graphics, a small sign shop specializing in vinyl graphics, banners, etc. Jake, Jed, and Jason keep mom and dad very busy as they compete year round in baseball, soccer, wrestling, and quarter midget racing. Baby Jadyn aspires to be a gymnast! Play the following video and take a look at Josh and Michele's children, ages 6, 11 and 14. The DVD was shot at the Orange County Fair. The images in the video are not that great because the video is a picture of a computer screen that was shot with a pocket video camera while running the DVD and then uploaded to YouTube. YouTube muted out the original songs (Grandma Got Run Over By a Raindeer and Car Wash) on the DVD because of copy right laws. The original audio track was replaced with an approved one that YouTube supplied.
